Lars Vollmer Freestyle Trampoline Athlete | Germany

Lars Vollmer is a young German freestyle trampoline athlete from Schopfheim in Baden-Württemberg.

His passion is freestyle trampolining – a sport that combines exceptional body control, courage, precision and countless hours of training.

Lars developed a special enthusiasm for demanding jumps and new combinations at an early age. That passion grew into consistent training and eventually led him into international competition.

Under the name “Flips by Lars”, Lars documents part of his athletic journey and shares insights into training, competitions and the fascination of freestyle trampolining.

The road to the international stage

From training to the world stage.

A major milestone in his athletic career was qualifying for the GT Games Europe 2025 in Rankweil, Austria. There, Lars gained international competition experience and measured himself against athletes from other countries.

Since then, his journey has continued with intensive training, the development of technically demanding tricks and preparation for ever greater sporting challenges.

From August 18 to 23, 2026, another special milestone follows in Porto, Portugal: competing at the World Championship. For Lars, the Worlds mean far more than just another competition. They are the result of his development so far and the beginning of the next chapter in his athletic career.

From Schopfheim to the world.

Although Lars now competes internationally, his sporting and personal roots remain in his hometown of Schopfheim.

His goal is to keep developing in international freestyle trampolining, reach new athletic limits and inspire other young people to discover this extraordinary sport.

for Lars.

About new tricks, respect in the air, the community and the big dream of competing at the World Championship.

Lars, what excites you most about freestyle trampolining?

Lars: What I love most is the feeling of being in the air. You can keep trying new tricks and constantly improve. It is especially cool when you have worked on a new trick for a long time and it finally works properly for the first time.

What goes through your mind when you try a new, difficult trick?

Lars: Of course, you need to respect it. But that is exactly what makes it exciting for me. I try to focus and run through the movement in my head. When you finally land the trick, it feels really good.

Apart from the jumps, what do you particularly like about the sport?

Lars: The community. You meet other people who are just as passionate about trampolining. At international competitions, you also get to know athletes from different countries. Even though you compete against one another, everyone supports and motivates each other.

What does competing at a World Championship mean to you?

Lars: It is something very special to me. Being able to compete at a World Championship against really strong athletes from different countries is an incredible experience. I want to enjoy the atmosphere, show my best and learn as much as possible from it.

What would you still like to achieve in trampolining?

Lars: I want to keep improving, learn new tricks and compete internationally at major events. But it is also important to me that the sport stays fun. I want to see how far I can go.
